Meet Dr. Marco Rodriguez
Baton Rouge & New Orleans' Leading Spine Surgeon, Redefining Patient-Centered Care
Raised with strong Christian family values in Lorain, Ohio, Dr. Marco Rodriguez felt called to a career in medicine from an early age. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, he earned his medical degree from the renowned Case Western Reserve University in 2003.
Dr. Rodriguez completed a five-year orthopedic residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where he developed a deep appreciation for spinal health. His dedication led him to a fellowship at the Texas Back Institute, a leader in artificial disc replacement and one of the foremost research facilities in spine care. There, he co-authored a pivotal article on cervical artificial disc replacement and refined his expertise alongside top specialists.
At Texas Back Institute, he adopted a comprehensive, multi-specialty approach, working with physical therapists, pain specialists, chiropractors, and spine surgeons to develop a unique methodology. This experience became the foundation for the his spine care today.
Dr. Rodriguez is deeply committed to patient-centered care, often praying with patients as a reflection of his faith and dedication to their well-being. Outside of his practice, he enjoys family life with his wife, Kristina, and their four children.
"My priority is to truly understand my patients’ needs—listening, guiding, and, when welcomed, sharing a moment of prayer to support their healing journey."
